C85 Shabby Rose Collection
Gift Box
by Bev Code

FOR THIS GIFT BOX YOU WILL NEED:

Paper: C85 Shabby Rose Collection
Dies: Memory Box, Heartfelt Creations
Other; ribbon, pearl, cardstock

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP #1: Starting with the printable instructions above cut the pattern out of cardstock. We will then assemble and decorate the cardstock base.

STEP #2: Follow all the instructions and score, cut, slit and punch the rounded corners.

STEP #3: using the Shabby Rose collection I chose a plainer print for the main body of the box, a fun floral for the lid section and some stripes for an in between section for a contrast. When making these pieces you can either make to patterns and cut apart one to keep as a template for all future gift boxes... or fold them down on paper and trace and cut... and make minor trim where necessary. Your option.

STEP #4: On the plainer base section I then cut a floral border trim and matted it in dark cardstock to make it pop.

STEP #5: I chose to use the shabby rose collection to make my accents along with some cardstock. The flower are die cut using Heartfelt Creations flowers from Sunflower Collection and the shaping kit. I die cut flower cluster with leaves and the mess die cut from Memory Box and the tag is just hand cut using matted layers for colour and dimension.  I also matted the square piece to add more colour behind the clustered section.

STEP #6: The flowers are layered, glued together and topped off with a pearl accent centre.

STEP #7: Cut out the medium circle in the lid of the gift box.

STEP #8: In this photo you get a view of the top section where I tied together the ribbons of coordinating colours and added the tag.

As you can see from the side view... this box is a great size to put many things into. It is a great gift box, a fabulous party favour size box for those birthday parties and it can be decorated for so many occasions any colour combo/ theme you are needing.
Sure hope you take time to make some of these yourself... everyone will love them. The personal touch to create these and share will make your guests and friends rave about them.
